Description

Anderson Sinclair Atlantic provides quality legal services focused on debt recovery for national clients. We are looking for an agent who is a salesperson at heart. You are polite, compassionate, and a good listener while also remaining persistent in negotiating payment solutions. Your excellent communication skills are your biggest asset, as negotiation and the ability to close a deal will ensure success.

Responsibilities:

· Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.

· Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments

· Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status

· Negotiate payoff deadlines and/or payment plans

· Handle questions or complaints

· Investigate and resolve discrepancies

· Update account status and report on collection efforts

· Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary

· Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable

· Some administrative duties as assigned

. Work within our client`s communication portal

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a debt collector or in a similar role

· Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines

· Knowledge of relevant legal requirements

· Working knowledge of MS Office and databases

· Excellent communication skills both written and oral

· Bilingual in French and English

· Apt in negotiation and problem-solving skills

· Ability to be polite and compassionate without lacking confidence

· High School diploma: post secondary degree/diploma in a related field is a plus

. Experience would be an asset but not a requirement

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
