Dock & Door Technician – Moncton

Are you a self-motivated technical professional with a strong mechanical aptitude interested in building a career with a prominent organization?

We are seeking a skilled Dock & Door Technician to join our team, providing essential maintenance and repair services for commercial and industrial dock and door systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting manufacturing facilities and customer operations with professionalism and technical expertise.

With branches located in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, we are looking for a Dock and Door Technician in Moncton Branch to join our growing New Brunswick Team

Reporting to the Service Supervisor you will be responsible for:

· Dock and Door installation, maintenance, and inspection
· Perform repairs in addition to installation and maintenance dock and door parts
· Service will include mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs as per the equipment
Diagnosing electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs
Analyze and diagnose dock levelers, vehicle restraints
· Performing Preventative Maintenance inspections on warehouse facilities
Install dock equipment including shelters, seals, lights, bollards, vehicle restraints, levelers, high speed doors, and overhead doors

Skill Requirements:

Good analytical skills to diagnose mechanical problems with minimal supervision
Good mechanical aptitude with an ability to service a diverse range of equipment
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with co-workers and managers; positive attitude, and good work ethics
Ability to lift to 70 lbs.
Ability to manage multiple jobs at one time
Ability to complete paperwork for multiple jobs accurately and timely
Current and suitable driver’s abstract and driver’s license
Strong welding skills
