Job Type: On-Call / Part-Time
Compensation: Based on trip volume and distance; vehicle may be provided or driver-owned, depending on company needs.
About the Role:
We are currently hiring responsible, professional, and safety-conscious drivers to join our private transportation team. This is an on-call position suited for individuals who are flexible, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service. Drivers will transport clients to and from various locations in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide reliable and professional private transportation to passengers
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and passengers
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies
- Maintain accurate trip records and logs as required
- Be available during the hours you commit to and respond promptly to dispatch requests
Requirements:
- Valid Class 4 driver’s license (mandatory)
- Clean criminal background check (must be provided prior to hiring)
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable driving experience in Canada
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Strong knowledge of local and regional roads and traffic patterns
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Driver Eligibility Criteria:
- No more than 1 cancellation due to non-payment in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 at-fault claim in the last 3 years
- No more than 3 total claims in the last 6 years
- No more than 3 minor driving convictions
- No major or serious driving convictions
- No underage operators (under 25 years old)
Vehicle Options:
- Driver may use their own vehicle, subject to company inspection and approval
- A company vehicle may be provided depending on availability and company needs
Commitment & Availability:
This is an on-call role, and flexibility is essential. Drivers are expected to honor the availability they provide. Reliability and punctuality are crucial in this position.
