Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen eye for detail, particularly in the art of baking .As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for creating high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods that delight our customers. This role requires creativity, precision, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.
Ensure all food preparation is done in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Plate desserts in the evning during service time
Prep baked goods to be baked in the cafe the following morning
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques with a focus on baking.
Strong understanding of food safety practices within the kitchen environment.
Experience in the food industry with a background in customer service is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Knowledge of food handling procedures to ensure safe preparation and storage of ingredients.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency in flavor and appearance of all baked goods.
