Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Person / Chef de Parti / Garde Manger to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing and presenting high-quality cold dishes, salads, charcuterie, and garnishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional kitchen setting, contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, charcuterie, and garnishes with precision and creativity.
Assist in food preparation tasks related to the garde manger station, ensuring timely and efficient service during busy hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold station, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and high-quality food presentation.
Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in dish quality.
Handle food safely at all times, practicing proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination.
Support meal preparation for special events or menu changes as needed.
Ensure all food is stored properly and rotated according to safety guidelines.

Experience

Proven experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or food handling within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Prior kitchen experience in a professional setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with the food industry standards for safety and sanitation is essential.
Experience working in a restaurant or culinary setting that emphasizes meal preparation and food safety practices.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques related to cold dishes and garnishes is preferred.

This role requires a dedicated culinary professional committed to delivering exceptional quality while maintaining a safe and organized kitchen environment. Candidates should possess strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary excellence.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
