Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food items, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. The ideal candidate will have prior food industry experience, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for delivering a positive dining experience to our guests. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service within a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Prepare and serve food items according to established standards and safety guidelines
Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, adhering to food safety regulations
Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service
Restock supplies as needed and assist with food preparation when required
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns professionally
Follow all sanitation procedures to ensure food handling safety standards are met

Skills

Prior food service experience or restaurant background preferred
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Food safety knowledge and sanitation practices essential for maintaining hygiene standards
Experience in food preparation, serving, and upselling menu items beneficial
Good time management skills to ensure timely order fulfillment during peak hours
Kitchen experience or familiarity with the food industry is a plus

Pay: $15.35-$20.84 per hour
