Clear health works to deliver 1:1 supports for those individuals requiring continued intervention to successfully remain at home and in their community. Supporting Families for those children/youth to continue to remain in their home is hard work, but the growth and developmental benefits to supporting each family is so impactful.

Behaviour Support Worker Job Description

Who you are:

Strong communication skills

Able to work independently or apart of a team while working toward a common goal for each individual

Organizational skills

Understand resilience, adaptability and capacity to change as the client needs

Responsibilities and Duties:

Involvement in the planning and implementation for each clients individualized care and behaviour support plan

Provide hand on care for each client in a safe, respectful, effective and responsible manner

Recognize each individual differences, values and beliefs

Support each persons activity plan

Demonstrate crisis intervention skills

Promote an environment and program that is both supportive and nurturing

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with children and youth with Different Abilities an asset

Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector check (Valid within 6 months)

Current CPR & First Aid

Valid drivers licence and personal Vehicle

Clear and current driver’s abstract

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
