We're looking for a Coordinator, Facility Management with experience in facility operations, maintenance planning, contract administration, and stakeholder management. In this role, you'll help keep Client-Partner facilities safe, efficient, reliable, and ready to support critical defence operations. By becoming a DCC team member, you'll contribute directly to maintaining the infrastructure that supports Canada's military personnel and mission readiness.

What You'll Do
As a key member of our Facility Management team, you'll play an important role in supporting the operation, maintenance, and performance of Client-Partner facilities and building systems. You'll spend your days:
Leading Contract Administration
- Managing and administering facility maintenance, service, and minor construction contracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and Client-Partner expectations.
- Coordinating with service providers, consultants, and contractors while monitoring performance, safety, schedules, and deliverables.
Supporting Facility Operations
- Supporting the ongoing operation and maintenance of facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building automation, fire protection, electronic security, communications systems, roads, and grounds.
- Identifying maintenance and repair requirements and supporting programs that improve reliability, performance, and energy efficiency.
Driving Quality & Asset Management
- Conducting facility inspections to assess safety, compliance, asset condition, performance, and Client-Partner satisfaction.
- Reviewing maintenance management plans, preparing asset inventories, and ensuring work aligns with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Performing energy audits and recommending improvements to enhance facility performance and efficiency.
Being the Trusted Connector
- Coordinating input from third-party specialists, consultants, testing agencies, and regulatory authorities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Client-Partners, contractors, consultants, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Facilitating meetings and supporting collaborative problem-solving to ensure service excellence.
Supporting Business Success
- Maintaining records, schedules, maintenance documentation, and reports.
- Supporting business development initiatives and applying proactive risk management practices.
- Ensuring quality standards are achieved in line with corporate and Client-Partner expectations.
What You Bring
A blend of technical facility management knowledge, contract administration expertise, and strong communication skills. You're equally comfortable reviewing maintenance plans, coordinating service providers, conducting site inspections, and working directly with Client-Partners to solve problems and improve facility performance.
Your Background
- A college diploma in facility management or a related field, plus four years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Certifications in engineering technology, real property management, or facility management are considered assets.
Your Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of facility management best practices, maintenance programs, construction contract management, and relevant legislation.
- Knowledge of project management and risk management principles.
- Ability to use facility management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Experience applying project and risk management techniques and providing advice and guidance to Client-Partners and colleagues.
- Exceptional relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Where You'll Work
You'll spend time in a primarily office-based environment with routine travel to facilities and project sites. Some work may take place on construction sites, and occasional use of basic personal protective equipment may be required.
