The Opportunity
The JGL Group of Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of our Moose Jaw location.
This role plays an important part in ensuring accurate transaction processing, timely communication with customers and suppliers, and well-maintained business records. The Administrative Assistant will support accounts receivable and accounts payable, inventory administration, customer account coordination, and general office functions, helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the location.
We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and takes pride in accuracy, follow-through, and getting the details right. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with data and business systems, and providing professional and responsive service to customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
This position is well suited to someone who enjoys being an integral part of an operational team, keeping processes organized, and ensuring the administrative side of the business runs smoothly.
This is an on-site position based at our Moose Jaw location, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
- Administrative and Operational Support
- Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Enter and maintain inbound and outbound inventory documentation
- Assist with inventory counts, reconciliation, and related administrative processes
- Receive and process customer payments accurately and in accordance with company procedures
- Reconcile monthly supplier statements and investigate discrepancies as required
- Assist with maintaining spreadsheets, reports and documentation
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
- Coordinate and schedule meetings as required
- Maintain confidentiality of customer, financial, and business information
- Assist with general office organization and administrative tasks
- Provide administrative support to the location and operational team as required
- Contribute to the overall accuracy, organization, and efficiency of daily operations
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous administrative, office, or customer service experience
- Strong data entry skills and a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Experience working with accounting, inventory, or ERP systems is considered an asset
- Experience in agriculture, retail, or a similar operational environment is considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
