Position Summary:

Temple Gardens Centre is currently seeking casual Event Security personnel to join its security team.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.50 - $16.00 CAD

Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching.

This position will remain open until September 18, 2026.

Responsibilities:

Secures all venue entrances.
Performs bag checks and inspections.
Ensures all public areas are a safe environment for patrons.
Maintains a comprehensive security logbook.
Submits fully detailed incident reports for all incidents.
Enhances customer service.
Shows commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
Works flexible hours as required by event schedule: evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

Previous security services experience would be an asset.
Current CPR and First Aid certificates preferred.
High School Diploma or GED.
Exceptional problem-solving, judgment, and negotiation skills.
Strong ability to be assertive and influential.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Courteous and professional manner.
Strong team player.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work flexible hours as required by event schedule: evenings, weekends, and holidays.
