We are currently looking for full time , licensed, experienced heavy equipment mechanics (421A) or licensed truck and coach mechanics (310T) or licensed agricultural mechanics (425A) to join our team at our NEW location (air conditioned and radiant floor heated shop) in St Thomas, Ontario. Your day will include planning, trouble shooting, repairing heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot, repair/rebuild, maintain and service various types of heavy construction equipment within established standards.
· Ability to complete repairs/servicing within established guidelines in a busy, fast-paced environment without compromising safety or quality.
· Inspect equipment to detect faults/malfunctions.
· Diagnose equipment using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repairs required.
· Perform scheduled maintenance service on our rental fleet equipment.
· Rebuild powertrain components (engine, torque, transmission, axles) and hydraulic pumps and motors.
· Prepare accurate service reports and look up parts
· Follow all company policies and procedures, and governmental and equipment related safety requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Licensed Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Technician (421A) would be preferred or Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic (310T) or Licensed Agricultural Equipment Mechanic (425A). Those without a license but with experience would be considered.
· Valid Driver’s License
· High Degree of Mechanical Aptitude – able to diagnose problems and identify fixes.
· Ability to read and understand schematics and technical information.
· Previous heavy equipment or farm equipment repair is an asset.
· Familiarity with CAT SIS program is an asset.
· Self starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Hourly wages are based on experience and knowledge.
