Full job description

Rural Routes Pest Control is looking for the best Pest Control Service Technicians in the industry. A seasonal position may become permanent for the right candidate.

Candidates to be the best will have the following qualities.

A strong "Can do" attitude. Our team does not back away from challenges and new team members will have that attribute.
An inquisitive mind. Our industry is always changing, and candidates will want to learn new techniques and practices to stay ahead of our competition.
A good sense of community. Team members will be part of a work family within the larger community, taking care of both equals success.

Candidates will need to fill the following requirements to be considered for a position with Rural Routes Pest Control.

Valid drivers license with a good driving record
High school diploma minimum.
Strong oral and written command of English. A second language is a bonus.
Be able to pass a criminal record check. You must be scrupulously honest.
A structural exterminators license is required.
Great customer service skills. Building relationships with residential and commercial/agricultural clients.
Professional appearance.

Successful candidates will be expected to do the following duties as a part of our company team.

You will service residential, commercial and agricultural clients.
You will inspect for pest issues and solve the clients pest issues. This may be through mechanical or chemical means.
You will build relationships with your clients and treat them as you would like to be treated.
You will complete the needed documentation and submit paperwork to our office in a timely manner.

Rural Routes Pest Control will take care of our team members that take care of us. Our company offers the following.

Compensation package that is above average for the industry plus a generous commission package.
We provide a company work truck and a fuel card as well as a company phone.
Of course you get your Birthday off with pay.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Mount Forest, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
