Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, managing sales transactions, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, sales experience, and a solid understanding of automotive products. Multilingual abilities and familiarity with tire and service operations are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support diverse client needs.

Responsibilities

Greet customers professionally and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs
Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
Provide detailed product information, answer customer inquiries, and offer solutions to enhance customer satisfaction
Maintain organized inventory levels and ensure proper order fulfillment
Utilize tire experience or automotive repair knowledge to advise customers effectively
Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and coordinate with other departments as needed
Support marketing initiatives by promoting special offers or new products to customers
Keep the sales area clean, organized, and well-stocked to ensure a welcoming environment
Use organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
Assist in maintaining records using Microsoft Excel or other relevant software tools

Experience

Prior experience in dealership sales, retail sales, or automotive repair is preferred
Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and order fulfillment processes
Bilingual or multilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills are essential
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience working with automotive parts or maintenance is desirable
