Wake up by the lake! At Inn on Long Lake, we believe breakfast is more than just food — it’s the first impression of the day. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable morning person to join our team full-time as a Breakfast Attendant and help our guests kick-start their day with a smile (and maybe a muffin or two).
About Us
We’re a locally owned, 64-room lakeside hotel in Nanaimo, where every room has a view of the water. Our vibe is relaxed, welcoming, and a little playful. Guests love us for our warm hospitality, pet-friendly atmosphere, and the perfect mix of comfort + lakeside charm.

What You’ll Do
- Set up and serve our complimentary continental breakfast (coffee, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and more)
- Keep the breakfast area clean, stocked, and guest-ready
- Answer guest questions, help with special requests, and brighten mornings with a friendly attitude
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are always followed
- Jump in to support teammates when needed
Who You Are
- A people person who enjoys chatting with guests and making mornings easier
- Reliable — because the breakfast team gets the whole hotel moving!
- Organized, quick, and able to keep things running smoothly
- Experience in hospitality or food service is required
- Early riser
- Transportation required
- Food Safe certified or willing to obtain certification.

The Details
- Full-Time, Permanent Position
- 5 days a week
- 6–7 hours per day
- Early mornings, including weekends 6:30am start, Weekdays 6am start
- Pay: Based on experience and performance
