FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Assistant Rooms Director, the Front Office Supervisor supports daily Front Office operations by overseeing Guest Service Agents, assisting with reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and ensuring exceptional guest service standards are upheld. This role assists with training and team support, and is the first point of contact for escalated guest concerns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and support Guest Service Agents
Assist with reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
Handle escalated guest concerns professionally
Complete daily supervisory checklists and administrative tasks
Support cash handling and reconciliation
Liaise with the Sales Team on group business
Support training, mentoring, and coaching of team members
Cover breaks and support daily coverage needs
Occasional overnight Duty Manager shifts (asset)
Other duties as assigned
Support coverage of breaks, including at the Front Desk
Carry the Emergency Phone (if First Aid certified)
Ability to cover occasional overnight Duty Manager shifts is considered an asset
Support training, mentoring, and coaching for new and existing team members
Projects and other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous Front Office / guest service experience in a hotel or resort environment required
Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
Strong computer skills and attention to detail
High level of professionalism and guest service focus
Upon successful completion of the three-month probationary period, incumbent will be required to complete First Aid Level 3
