Valet Restorations, A Successful West Kootenays Family Oriented Emergency Response Company with 30 years in the Industry, is rapidly growing and is now currently expanding in other areas of BC. When our clients experience a fire, flood, or other disasters, natural or man made, we respond 24/7/365 to help them recover and get things back to normal. We are a preferred vendor to many of Canada's largest insurance companies.

We currently have immediate openings for Skilled Construction Labourer to join our family oriented team who is eager to learn, ambitious, punctual and dependable!

Responsibilities:

Positive and professional attitude
Self-started with the ability to work both independently and as a team player
Have a meticulous attitude towards job completion
Safety conscious and able to wear the provided safety equipment
Experience in general carpentry
Ability to work with all construction-related hand power tools
Experience in renovations
Ability to take direction and apply competency to tasks given
The ability to work unsupervised and complete tasks in a timely manner
Versatile in knowing that you will be required, to assist in other areas of the restoration company such as demolition, abatement, and emergency remediation due to flood, fire, wind etc.
Be available for new floods/fires, after work hours, when On-Call. On-Call rotation averages 1 week in every 4 weeks.

Qualifications:

Valid drivers license and a clear Drivers Abstract with a clean Criminal Record Check
Superior customer service skills and professionalism with clients
Able to work as a team
Able to communicate effectively
Able to work alone or with minimal supervision

Wages will be negotiable pending on experience.
