Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Vars, ON

What You’ll Do:

Lead machining operations on a Haas VF-2 Mill, Haas SL-20 and ST-25Y Lathes.
Organize the workflow and lead supporting staff to achieve deadlines
Create programs in Mastercam and/or by editing G-Code
Complete full machine setups, and run high-mix, low- to medium-volume productions.
Optimize production-run programs for feeds, speeds, and processes.
Work closely with other machine operators running the CNC press brake and laser.
Assist manufacturing activities and keep the workspace clean

What You Need:

Extensive (5+ years) experience in machining high-mix, low-volume steel parts, without support.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Comfortable using hand tools and precision measurement tools, comfortable using a manual mill and lathe for specific operations.
Forklift experience is an asset
Team player with attention to detail

Ce que vous ferez :

Diriger les opérations d’usinage sur une fraiseuse Haas VF-2 ainsi que sur les tours Haas SL-20 et ST-25Y.
Organiser le flux de travail et superviser le personnel de soutien afin de respecter les échéanciers.
Créer des programmes dans Mastercam et/ou modifier du code G.
Effectuer les montages complets des machines et réaliser des productions à forte variété et à faible ou moyen volume.
Optimiser les programmes de production en ajustant les avances, les vitesses et les procédés.
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les opérateurs de machines qui opèrent la plieuse et le laser.
Soutenir les activités de fabrication et maintenir l’espace de travail propre.

Ce qu’il vous faut :

Expérience significative (5 ans et plus) dans l’usinage de pièces en acier à forte variété et faible volume, de façon autonome.
Capacité à lire et interpréter des plans et des dessins techniques.
À l’aise avec l’utilisation d’outils manuels et d’instruments de mesure de précision, ainsi qu’avec l’utilisation d’une fraiseuse et d’un tour conventionnels pour certaines opérations.
Expérience de conduite de chariot élévateur, un atout.
Esprit d’équipe et souci du détail.
