OVERVIEW

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist our diverse guest base. Previous hotel experience and familiarity with multi-line phone systems are preferred. Growth opportunities available; compensation is tied to experience and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Manage reservations accurately using hotel management software.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Operate multi-line phone systems to answer calls promptly and provide information about hotel services.
Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to enhance guest experience.
Process payments securely and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to ensure a welcoming environment.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly.
Uphold high standards of phone etiquette, customer service, and hospitality at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience
Bilingual in French and English
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Experience working at a chain or franchised hotel
Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, HotelKey, or similar
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems
Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, and hospitality standards

Skills & Attributes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service-oriented, friendly demeanor
Ability to multitask efficiently and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and positive attitude, representing the hotel brand effectively
Comfortable working variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on occupancy

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
