The Sign Fabricator operates effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the timely delivery of orders to customers. This role involves actively participating in the preparation, cutting and mounting of standard ministry signage and custom signage alike. The Sign Fabricator is an integral part of the manufacturing team, delivering quality signage to all customers.
Please note that this is a 6 month contract position with the possibility of extention based on Operational Needs
What you will be responsible for:
Quality Control:
- Perform quality checks on products and parts.
- Review work orders to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
Production Process Execution:
- Cutting and handling of aluminum sheets. Assisting in assembly of highway signage.
- Applying graphics to aluminum substrate.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
- Proficient/comfortable using equipment, such as table saw, metal shear, grinder.
- Safely control and operate equipment, such as forklifts.

What we need from you:
- Highschool diploma or the equivalent
- Proven experience as a labourer
- Previous sign manufacturing experience considered as an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to use basic power tools
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail

- Situational Adaptability: Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations

When will you be working:
- Generally 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm or as determined based on Operational Needs
