Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter/Laborer to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects, utilizing various hand and power tools, and assisting with general labor tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and masking as needed
Apply paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment on residential, commercial, and industrial projects
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during various tasks
Assist with rigging and scaffolding setup for elevated work areas
Perform demolition or removal of old paint or materials as required for restoration projects
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress or issues

Requirements

Prior experience in construction, restoration, or painting preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of construction painting techniques including residential, commercial, and industrial applications
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, caulking, carpentry, and rigging equipment
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights when necessary
A valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation between job sites

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
