Waterworks Pools & Spas is looking for a Pool & Hot Tub Service Technician to join our Service Team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is mechanically inclined, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. If you have an eye for detail and enjoy hands-on work, we’d love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ years of experience in pool, spa, or landscape maintenance is an asset (but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions, procedures, and product manuals
- A proactive mindset—someone who takes initiative, seeks solutions, and doesn’t stop at “I don’t know”
- Natural problem solver who enjoys figuring things out and learning through hands-on experience or research
- Eagerness to grow with the company, take on challenges, and continuously improve
- Effective communication skills and professional attitude when interacting with customers, teammates, and supervisors
- Strong tam player with a positive attitude and willingness to support others
- Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on work, including safely lifting 50+ pounds
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver’s abstract
- RCMP Criminal Record Check after verbal offer
Responsibilities:
- Testing and balancing pool and spa water
- Opening and closing pools
- Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all aspects of residential/commercial pools and spas
- Ensure site safety meets safety policy and legislated requirements
- Effectively communicating with clients to explain work completed and how to operate systems
- Maintaining equipment, parts, and chemical inventory on company vehicle
- Aiding in spa deliveries, liner installations, and build crew tasks
- Reporting to the Service Manager to ensure that the notes are input accurately and promptly
- Driving service vehicle to job sites and reporting issues with the vehicle to the Warehouse Manager and/or Service Manager
- Assist in liner preparation/installation and installing pool safety covers

Schedule: Monday – Friday, early mornings (7:30 AM start)
