The Opportunity

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Moncton is looking for a Body Shop Paint Prepper.

We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday. No weekends!

Responsibilities

Perform preliminary work to prepare trucks for finishing work
Prepare trucks for painting, which includes masking, sanding, and other necessary preparation work
Prepare and prime the bodywork to the manufacturer's specifications for finishing
Restore or replace damaged panels as required to ensure the vehicle's structural integrity, function, and appearance

Qualifications

Minimum high school education completed or equivalent
Previous experience in painting and/or prep work would be considered an asset.
Valid driver's license and be able to provide a clean driver's abstract
Must be able to work individually and as part of a team
Able to use hand tools and power tools to remove or repair damaged parts, weld as needed, and properly install new parts

Work Location: In person
