The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Mount Allison University invites applications for a part-time stipendiary appointment for the Winter 2027 term, to teach CHEM 3121 Intermediate Organic Chemistry and a corresponding lab section (https://selfservice.mta.ca/Student/Student/Courses/Search?subjects=CHEM). Both the lectures and the labs are expected to be run in person on campus. The successful candidate should have a completed PhD in Chemistry or related field. Doctoral students are welcome to apply, and prior teaching experience is preferred.
The anticipated enrollment in the course is approximately 30 students and involves 3 lecture hours and 3 hours of laboratory instruction per week plus office hours to assist students.
