Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient distribution, shipping, and receiving processes. As a key leader on the team, you will coordinate heavy equipment operation, manage order fulfillment, and uphold safety standards. Your mechanical knowledge and warehouse experience will drive productivity and accuracy across all functions, supporting our commitment to timely delivery and exceptional service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a motivated team in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, and loading/unloading freight using heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes
Coordinate warehouse distribution and delivery team to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency
Lead and train team members on safe operation of heavy equipment and proper handling techniques for heavy lifting and construction-related tasks
Oversee inventory management using Warehouse Management System
Manage shipping documentation, coordinate with carriers, and ensure timely dispatch of goods
Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce safety protocols, and promote a culture of safety awareness among staff
Support warehouse management system updates and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues as needed

Requirements

Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes
Valid certification in forklift operation
Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and equipment maintenance
Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and documentation standards
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely including forklifts, cranes, and load/unload machinery
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and fulfillment tasks
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment requiring heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking
