Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse's Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist nursing staff in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being of patients. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency with medical terminology and computer operation. Bilingual candidates fluent in English and French are encouraged to apply. The Nurse's Aide will play a vital role in supporting nursing functions and maintaining an efficient healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Maintain accurate patient records using computer systems and medical terminology
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with healthcare standards
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to address needs and provide excellent customer service
Assist with medical procedures as directed by licensed nursing staff while adhering to safety protocols
Manage time efficiently to prioritize patient care tasks throughout shifts

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and general computer operation
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care procedures
Excellent communication skills in both English and French (bilingual preferred)
Ability to provide compassionate patient care with attention to detail
Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
Ability to operate medical equipment safely and assist with medication administration
Customer service orientation with a focus on patient comfort and safety
Good organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating professionalism and empathy

Pay: $20.00 per hour
