Sunly Energy is currently seeking Full-Time Permanent Solar Ambassadors (Sales Lead Generators ) in the New Glasgow and Truro areas to join our sales team.

What You’ll Do

As a Solar Ambassador, you’ll travel daily to residential neighborhoods to engage homeowners in meaningful conversations about solar energy and generate qualified leads for the Sales team by booking on-site appointments.

Our Solar Ambassadors are self-motivated, results-driven individuals who enjoy making a positive impact.

Under the supervision of the Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Solar Ambassador include, but are not limited to, the following:

Prospects for leads daily, by knocking on doors and engaging in conversations with residential homeowners in territories assigned by the Manager;
Works according to the schedule assigned by the Manager;
Educates residents on the benefits of solar energy, government rebates and incentives, if applicable, and addresses questions and concerns;
Follows up with potential leads via door visits, phone calls, or emails to secure appointments;
Books appointments directly with potential clients on-site using an iPad and the assigned Sales platform;
Inputs lead information and details into the Sales platform for the Sales team;
Ensures all information is accurate, organized and easily accessible for the sales team and management;
Coordinates with the sales team and management to ensure a seamless handoff of lead information and ensures open flow of communication;
Attends weekly virtual team meetings and one-on-one check-ins with the Manager to receive feedback, training and updates; and
Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Valid driver’s license, with an acceptable driver’s abstract and access to a reliable and insured vehicle is required, as you will be traveling from your residence to residential homes in assigned territories;
Punctual, reliable and comfortable working independently outside exposed to all weather conditions;
Comfortable handling rejection and can remain motivated to work diligently during working hours, staying in the field until all tasks and appointments are completed;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage homeowners on Sunly’s products and services;
Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage lead details and appointments;
Coachable, trainable and open to feedback;
Proficiency in English is required;
Comfortable with technology; and
A criminal record check is required.
