Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the shipping and receiving processes for the yard, ensuring that all products are accurately received and processed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and have experience in receiving.

Duties

Receive incoming shipments, verifying the contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products according to company standards.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Ensure that all shipping and receiving areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
Collaborate with team members to streamline receiving tasks and improve efficiency.
Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse distribution is preferred.
Forklift operation experience is a must
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Basic math skills for accurate order processing.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
A positive attitude with a willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
