Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Buffet Attendant and be the welcoming face that ensures an exceptional dining experience for every guest! In this lively role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and appealing buffet area, providing attentive service, and supporting the overall flow of the dining environment. Responsibilities

Set up and replenish buffet stations with fresh food items, ensuring presentation is attractive and inviting.
Monitor food levels throughout service hours, promptly refilling or replacing items as needed to maintain variety and quality.
Maintain cleanliness by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and buffet equipment to adhere to food safety standards.
Assist guests with inquiries about menu items, dietary options, and buffet layout in a friendly and professional manner.
Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required, including slicing, garnishing, or portioning food.
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to promote safety and hygiene.
Clear used dishes and assist in cleaning the buffet area during shifts to uphold a tidy environment.

Requirements

Prior food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests and team members.
Experience with food handling, meal preparation, or kitchen work is advantageous.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning equipment.
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices to ensure compliance at all times.
