Full job description

The Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment, including receiving, processing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role performs a variety of warehouse functions such as receiving, order selecting, and general warehouse support while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

6 month contract with the possibility to lead to full time

Responsibilities

Follow Bunzl standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and operational best practices.

Complete cycle counts, activity walks, and empty-bin walks daily.

Meet Bunzl Standard KPI Goals.

Operate warehouse equipment including order pickers, reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and pallet jacks (training provided).

Pick and prepare customer orders; wrap and load pallets for local and out‑of‑town deliveries.

Accurately receive and stage inbound products.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Assist team members and support warehouse operations as directed by leadership.

Requirements

Previous warehouse and forklift operation experience.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to work overtime as business needs require.

Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.

Ability to lift 25kg to 55+ lbs. and perform repeated physical tasks.

Ability to work at heights up to 26 feet (training and equipment provided).

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work safely in accordance with company safety policies and applicable occupational health and safety legislation.

RF scanner experience is an asset.
