We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper to join our team in Canada. This role is vital in supporting our administrative operations and maintaining accurate financial records to ensure the smooth running of our projects.

Responsibilities

Manage daily administrative tasks to support project teams and office operations.
Handle bookkeeping duties including data entry, invoicing, and record keeping.
Use accounting software Sage to maintain financial records.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
Assist with payroll processing and accounts payable/receivable.
Prepare financial reports and assist in budget management.
Coordinate with external accountants for audits or tax filings.
Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and paper documents.

Qualifications

Proven experience with accounting software Sage.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial record management.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Knowledge of payroll processing is preferred.
Prior experience in landscape architecture or construction industry is a plus.
