Responsibilities

Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure a smooth workflow.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items under supervision.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
Support cooks by organizing ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation.
Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards.
Manage waste disposal efficiently and ensure proper storage of perishable items.
Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and assisting colleagues as needed.

Requirements

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending comfortably.
Strong organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail.
