Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes, menu plans, and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas that align with dietary needs and customer preferences
Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times
Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food with precision and efficiency
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment, adhering to health regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods, demonstrating excellent food service skills
Contribute to the development of meal preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods that enhance flavor and presentation

Skills

Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide within healthcare or hospitality settings
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations in fine dining or restaurant environments
Knowledge of menu planning, meal assembly, and catering logistics
Expertise in food safety practices, including proper handling, sanitation, and storage procedures
Excellent knife skills combined with proficiency in various cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
