Habitat for Humanity Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking an enthusiastic Event Marketing Specialist to join our team through the Canada Summer Jobs Program. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, community engagement, marketing, and nonprofit operations while contributing to Habitat's mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event planning and marketing for fundraising initiatives.
- Assist with sponsorship activities related to Habitat build projects.
- Assist with securing product donations for the ReStore from local businesses.
- Work closely with the ReStore Manager to prioritize businesses and organizations for outreach.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and the results of those activities.
- Assist with ReStore marketing initiatives and social media activities.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Canada Summer Jobs Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
