Full job description

PAL Airlines is seeking a Cargo Agent to join our St. John’s, NL team on a casual call-in basis!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Respond to cargo inquires;
Provide freight quotes;
Accept small freight; issuing waybills and handling cargo;
Provide internal and external customer support;
General accounting and completion of daily sales reports;
Process cargo for shipping based on customer needs;
Perform general office and warehouse duties as required;
Operate forklift;
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Completion of High School;
Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products;
Basic accounting knowledge;
Ability to perform duties related to cash sales and POS system;
Previous experience in customer service would be an asset;
Ability to lift weight handling up to 50 lbs.;
Excellent communication and organization skills;
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
