The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day HR and labor relations activities at the site. This position is responsible for coordinating essential functions such as payroll, employee training, and travel arrangements, while ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Working closely with both management and staff, the HR Coordinator provides timely support and guidance on labor and human relations matters. This role contributes to overall business success by helping maintain a well-organized, compliant, and employee-focused work environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in labor relations is an asset
- Experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly with drilling contractors, is considered an advantage
- Background in workplace investigations and conflict resolution is preferred
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism
- Strong knowledge of federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations
- Familiarity with unionized environments and applicable labor agreements
- Ability to identify business challenges and develop effective HR-driven solutions
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong overall computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, management, unions, customers, and external partners
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, including outside regular business hours when required
- Willingness and ability to travel to various company locations, including offshore sites
