Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and welcoming Front Dental Receptionist to join our team.

Position: Full-time Front Dental Receptionist
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in a dental setting ideally with some Dental Assisting background.

Duties

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries.
Have a sound understanding of Dental Insurance, CDCP and MCP.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
Process patient information and verify insurance details to ensure proper billing procedures.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, appointment reminders, and follow-up care.
Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental office is preferred.
Strong administrative skills with proficiency in phone systems and office management practices.
Familiarity with Dental Patient Management systems ideally with Dentrix;
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is an advantage.
