Sales & Warehouse Associate
The Cabin Depot Newfoundland
St. John's, NL

The Cabin Depot Newfoundland is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. As Newfoundland's source for off-grid living solutions, we help customers find the products and expertise they need for cabins, cottages, RVs, and remote properties.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable discussing products and solutions with customers, and has a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and strengthening their knowledge base. Previous sales experience is considered an asset, as is experience in warehousing, inventory management, and material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers in-store by identifying their needs and recommending suitable products and solutions
Provide exceptional customer service and build positive customer relationships
Process sales transactions and prepare customer orders
Receive, organize, and maintain inventory
Pick, pack, and load customer orders
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized showroom and warehouse
Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment
Support general day-to-day store operations as required

Qualifications:

Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable interacting with customers in a sales environment
Previous retail sales experience is considered an asset
Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience is considered an asset
Ability to lift and move products as required
Forklift certification is an asset but not required
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Interest in RV, marine, or cabin systems is considered an asset
A dedicated interest in living the off-grid lifestyle and its associated obstacles is a must
Must be technologically oriented
Experience with POS systems (namely Shopify) is considered an asset

Schedule:

Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
