Job Summary
We’re looking for a reliable, personable and fashion-forward Boutique Assistant to become an important part of our team and my right-hand person in the day-to-day running of the boutique.
This is more than a traditional retail position. I’m looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, enjoys working with people and is comfortable jumping in wherever they’re needed - from helping customers and merchandising to unpacking new arrivals, preparing the store and supporting the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the boutique running smoothly.
Important Availability Requirement
Flexibility is essential for this position.
The ideal candidate will have good weekday daytime availability as well as availability on weekends and be able to adjust their schedule when needed.
This position is not well suited to someone whose availability is restricted by a school or academic schedule. We are looking for someone with the flexibility to work regular daytime hours during the week and weekends.

What You'll Be Doing
- Providing friendly, personalized service to our customers
- Helping customers put together outfits and find pieces that work for their lifestyle
- Opening and/or closing the boutique
- Merchandising and keeping the store looking beautiful and organized
- Receiving, unpacking and processing new inventory
- Tagging and preparing merchandise for the sales floor
- Helping with inventory and stockroom organization
- Assisting with social media content and in-store promotions when needed
- Helping prepare for events, launches and special promotions
- Keeping the boutique clean, organized and customer-ready
- Taking initiative and helping with whatever needs to be done that day

Hours
Part-time hours, with a flexible schedule based on the needs of the boutique.
Weekday daytime availability is required, along with some weekend availability.
