As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we are looking to add an exceptional Director of Sales to our leadership team.
Over the past three decades, we have built one of the country’s most respected craft breweries through great products, strong customer relationships, and deep community involvement. Our business has experienced significant growth, and we're looking for a proven sales leader who can help take us to the next level.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a strategic, and inspirational sales executive who thrives on building high-performing teams, driving sustainable growth, and identifying new market opportunities. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead an experienced sales team while developing and executing strategies that accelerate growth across existing and emerging markets.
What You'll Do:
Drive Sales Growth:

Develop and execute the brewery's overall sales strategy and annual sales plans across all product categories, customer segments, and sales channels.

Lead continued growth in our local markets while expanding opportunities in new product categories and export markets.

Analyze market trends, customer data, historical performance, and financial forecasts to identify opportunities and establish measurable sales objectives.

Create accountability measures and performance benchmarks that drive results.

Implement effective sales management processes to ensure consistent execution of strategic plans and achievement of sales targets.

Establish clear sales goals, reporting systems, performance metrics, and regular business reviews.

Identify new opportunities across customer segments, geographic markets, distribution channels, and product categories.
Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Team:

Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate an experienced team of senior sales professionals.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.

Develop talent and succession plans while promoting professional growth throughout the sales organization.
Build Strong Relationships:

Manage key customer and sponsorship relationships.

Represent the brewery within the business community and continue building the strong community connections that have been central to our success.

Collaborate closely with marketing, finance, production, taproom and retail to ensure alignment across the business.
Support New Product Development:

Contribute to the development and launch of innovative new products.

Evaluate market opportunities through data analysis, consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and emerging industry trends.

Provide commercial leadership throughout the product development process to ensure successful market launches.
Financial Management:

Develop and manage annual sales budgets, staffing plans, and promotional spending.

Monitor performance against budgets and adjust plans as needed to maximize return on investment.

Lead the development of pricing strategies, assessment of new customers, profitability analysis and management of credit and receivables.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will bring:

A proven track record of senior sales leadership, ideally within the beverage, consumer packaged goods, food, or related industries.

Demonstrated success developing and executing sales strategies that deliver sustained growth.

Experience leading, coaching, and motivating experienced sales teams.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive business decisions.

Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.

Outstanding relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.

Experience working with distributors, retail partners, and key accounts.

A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on leadership style and a passion for delivering results.
