Global Talent Partners is delighted to partner with a successful independent companion animal hospital in Newmarket, Ontario, as they look to welcome an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian to their growing team.

You'll be joining a team of five veterinarians alongside skilled RVTs and veterinary assistants, with an excellent staff-to-doctor ratio that allows clinicians to focus on delivering the highest standard of care.

The Opportunity
As a Small Animal Veterinarian, you'll manage a varied caseload covering consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning and routine surgery, while working alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive practice environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality medical care for companion animals
- Performing routine surgical procedures within general practice
- Investigating and managing a wide variety of medical cases
- Building trusted relationships with clients through clear, compassionate communication
- Working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll ideally have:
- A DVM (or equivalent) with eligibility for veterinary registration in Ontario
- Previous experience in small animal general practice
- Confidence managing cases independently
- Strong medical, diagnostic and routine surgical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities
- A positive, team-oriented approach to practice
