Niagara Clifton Group is hiring a Pizza Pizza Supervisor for its Pizza Pizza location.
Pizza Pizza is a fast-paced, high-volume, quick service restaurant offering an array of signature options from pizza to snack boxes and poutines. Our guests can relax on our outdoor 150-seat patio and take in the hustle and bustle of Clifton Hill.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Pizza Pizza Supervisor is responsible for supporting and overseeing the day-to-day front of house and back of house operations of the restaurant. You will help execute daily operations including training, developing, mentoring, and leading a diverse group of team members with a goal of delivering excellent guest service, supporting sales and profitability, controlling labour, and ensuring safety, sanitation, and food quality standards are maintained.
Shifts: Days, Afternoons, Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays.
Job Type: Full-Time, Seasonal
Compensation: From $18.50 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Perform the same duties as front counter, kitchen, and support team members as needed to maintain efficient operations and service standards;
- Supervise shift operations to ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service is consistently delivered, while leading by example with a professional, positive, and respectful approach;
- Promote a culture aligned with the company’s core values of teamwork, positivity, inclusivity, and respect, while fostering a fun and safe work environment;
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, training, coaching, and day-to-day support of team members to help them succeed in their roles;
- Be knowledgeable of standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with company policies, food handling, sanitation, Occupational Health and Safety, First Aid, WHMIS, and related safety standards;
- Support productivity, task execution, and exceptional customer service by effectively coaching employees, addressing performance concerns, and prioritizing operational needs throughout the shift;
- Monitor food, packaging, and supply inventory levels, receive and stock deliveries, rotate products using First In, First Out guidelines, and communicate shortages or ordering needs to management;
- Communicate with management and team members effectively, complete shift or daily reports as required, and share updates on promotions, product availability, equipment concerns, and operational changes;
- Support labour needs by helping manage call-offs, shift coverage, staffing levels, break assignments, task delegation, and pre-shift direction in line with business volumes and labour targets;
- Address customer concerns with professionalism, active listening, and effective conflict resolution to achieve timely and appropriate solutions;
- Monitor and maintain work equipment and report technical issues involving POS systems, receipt printers, kitchen equipment, or timekeeping systems so they can be addressed promptly;
- Help safeguard cash floats, petty cash, safe access, keys, and company property in accordance with company procedures;
- Ensure the restaurant remains clean, organized, and fully operational by identifying and communicating deficiencies, maintenance needs, and safety concerns in a timely manner;
- Respond to emergency situations and employee or guest incidents in accordance with company procedures, including completing reports and follow-up documentation as required;
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, and/or Director of Operations, in keeping with the scope and level of the position.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of comparable quick service restaurant supervisory or management experience directing work, training, and supporting team members in front of house and/or back of house operations required;
- Hospitality, food service, or restaurant management education an asset;
- Food Handler Certification required; Smart Serve certification an asset if required for location-specific duties; and
- First Aid Certification an asset.
