REVEL Realty is a rapidly growing brokerage, and we are looking to fill a supporting role of Broker Manager who can join our team to support our Broker of Record and our growing network of agents across Ontario. We are seeking a dedicated Broker Manager to join our leadership team and drive agent support and development within our expanding network. The Broker Manager will play a pivotal role in managing, mentoring, and supporting our team of agents. This individual will ensure compliance with industry standards, facilitate growth, and foster a collaborative, positive work environment. We are looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and organized professional who can maintain high standards and uphold REVEL Realty’s reputation as an industry leader.

The following is a list of the primary job duties and responsibilities:

Compliance & Legal Oversight

Ensure all agents and transactions comply with TRESA, RECO rules, and brokerage policies.
Review and approve trade documents (offers, agreements, listings) to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.
Maintain proper record-keeping for all transactions as required by law.
FINTRAC Compliance Officer: Ensure FINTRAC compliance for the brokerage, update policies based on regulatory changes, support agents with compliance questions, and facilitate FINTRAC training.
Review and sign off on agents’ paperwork where designated signatures are required.

Agent Support

Act as the first point of contact to provide support to agents, guiding them in transaction management, compliance, and business development.
Provide guidance and advice to agents on complex transactions, legal questions, or ethical issues.
Act as a resource for agents in negotiations, contract preparation, and problem-solving.Onboard, train, and mentor new agents, helping them understand compliance and brokerage procedures.
Assist Broker of Record with conflict resolution, managing client and agent issues with professionalism and ensuring prompt resolution.

Risk Management

Identify potential risks or legal issues in trades and mitigate them before they escalate.
Handle complaints from clients or disputes between agents.
Ensure errors and omissions (E&O) coverage and policies are understood and adhered to.

Client & Public Relations

Represent the brokerage professionally in the community and during client escalations.
Assist in resolving client complaints or disputes that agents cannot handle.

Training & Continuing Education

Conduct, update, and develop training sessions to enhance agents’ skills, focusing on real estate best practices, client management, and compliance.
Keep agents updated on changes in laws, forms, and industry practices.
Source, secure, and direct the Guest Speaker series, inviting relevant third-party vendors to present industry-relevant content to agents.
Manage and track the Mentorship Program’s progress and report accordingly.
Manage all REVEL Mentors.
Ensure all agents maintain their RECO registration and complete required continuing education.

Reporting to the Broker of Record

Report compliance issues, legal risks, or operational matters to the Broker of Record.Work closely with leadership to implement brokerage policies and growth strategies.

Recruitment & Growth

Support recruitment efforts by interviewing prospective agents to expand the brokerage’s agent base.
Continually update recruitment meeting materials to reflect current branding, policies, and commission structures.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Brokerage Manager.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a licensed Broker.
Be in good standing with RECO and their real estate association(s)
Strong knowledge of TRESA, FINTRAC, compliance & market trends
Customer service oriented
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Able to multitask, with strong organizational skills.

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
