Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor/Cook to oversee daily kitchen operations and prepare high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with the ability to lead a team and ensure efficient service. This role is vital in maintaining the standards of our food service establishment and providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to safety protocols
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and quality standards
Oversee food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain compliance with health regulations
Manage meal preparation schedules to ensure timely service during peak hours
Assist in training new staff on food safety, cooking techniques, and customer service expectations
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of ingredients
Ensure all food served meets presentation standards and customer satisfaction is achieved
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or similar environment
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the food industry is preferred
Familiarity with serving techniques, meal preparation, and restaurant workflows
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively

Pay: $16.50-$19.00 per hour
