Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging group fitness classes and motivate participants of all skill levels. This dynamic role requires a vibrant personality, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to promoting health and wellness within our community. The ideal candidate will create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participants to achieve their fitness goals while enjoying the experience.

Duties

Lead group fitness classes such as step classes, aerobics, Zumba, HIIT, Hand Balancing, adult gymnastics, acro or other specialized formats with enthusiasm and professionalism
Design and adapt class routines to accommodate various fitness levels and ensure participant safety
Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to facilitate understanding and proper technique
Foster an encouraging atmosphere that motivates participants to stay engaged and committed
Monitor class participants for safety concerns and offer modifications as needed
Maintain equipment and ensure the cleanliness of the workout area before and after classes
Promote upcoming classes, memberships, or special events to enhance community engagement
Provide feedback on class effectiveness

Skills

Proficiency in English a must
Previous teaching or instructing experience in group fitness settings is a must
Fitness Theory or equivilent is neccessary
First Aid is required
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse groups of participants
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to motivate and inspire others
Effective time management skills to start and end classes promptly while maintaining quality content
Leadership qualities that foster a positive, inclusive environment for all participants
Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and safely while providing modifications when necessary
Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

First Aid (required)
