Job Overview

Are you a 4th Year Apprentice looking for the ultimate shop to maximize your earning potential and cross the finish line to your Red Seal? Harris Victoria Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is under exciting new management in our service department, and we are looking for a highly skilled, efficient apprentice to join our busy team.

This position is an excellent way to grow your career and transition into a top-earning Journeyman role. We provide on-the-job paid training, exposure to advanced diagnostics, and we will pay for your final block of schooling to help you secure your ticket. If you are upbeat, efficient, and ready to turn high hours on a flat-rate system, we want to invest in you.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $37.80 per hour (Flat Rate)
Location: Victoria, BC — In-person
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (plus every 3rd Saturday for a partial day)

Core Responsibilities

Advanced Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose and repair complex powertrain, electrical, drivability, and HVAC issues on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and off-make vehicles.
Flat-Rate Efficiency: Complete a high volume of repairs and maintenance tasks accurately within flat-rate time guidelines to maximize shop productivity.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Work alongside seasoned Journeyman Technicians and help guide junior lube or tire technicians when needed.
Digital Inspections: Execute detailed multi-point safety inspections, document required parts and labor clearly, and coordinate with Service Advisors.
Shop Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere strictly to provincial safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Apprenticeship Status: Registered 4th Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice.
Experience: Strong mechanical proficiency with a proven track record of booking efficient hours in a shop environment.
Attitude: Upbeat, highly motivated, team-oriented, and eager to learn complex dealership diagnostic systems.
Tools: Own comprehensive set of tools appropriate for a 4th-year apprentice level.
Licence: Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record are required to road-test client vehicles.
