Food Production Worker

We're looking for a Food Production Worker who takes pride in quality work, enjoys being part of a team, and wants to contribute to products customers trust and enjoy.

Location: Chemainus, BC
Wage: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
No regular evenings or weekends

What You'll Be Doing

As a Food Production Worker, you'll help manufacture, package, and ship our natural food and healthy lifestyle products.

Production & Packaging

Weigh and package products accurately
Label bottles, containers, and shipping boxes
Complete production and quality documentation
Clean and sanitize equipment, work surfaces, and production areas
Wash dishes and production tools
Sweep, mop, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Remove garbage and recycling
Assist team members with production tasks as needed

Shipping & Receiving

Prepare and pack customer orders for shipment
Create shipping labels and coordinate outgoing shipments
Receive and organize incoming deliveries and materials
Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
Maintain organized inventory and storage areas
Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment

Have basic computer skills
Are dependable, punctual, and eager to learn
Enjoy working as part of a team
Are comfortable jumping between different tasks as business needs change

Qualifications

Food Safe Level 1 certification is an asset
Previous food handling, production, warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience is an asset
Experience with shipping software or inventory systems is considered an asset
We welcome all experience levels and will train the right person
Reliable transportation is required, as our workplace is not accessible by public transit

Physical Requirements

Regular standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a production environment
