Full job description

Overview
We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our team at the 2026 Canadian National Exhibition! With Food & Game Concessions there is something for everyone. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and a strong understanding of basic math (making change). Strong English skills are a must.

Duties

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established guidelines and food safety standards
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
Handle food with care and follow proper food handling procedures
Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests

Skills

Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
Knowledge of food industry best practices, including food safety and handling protocols
Experience in serving, bartending, or barista roles is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed
A team-oriented attitude with a professional appearance and demeanor

Pay: $15.00-$24.40 per hour
