Overview
Join us as a Camp Coordinator and lead dynamic summer programs designed to inspire, educate, and empower young learners. In this vibrant role, you will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of engaging camp activities while fostering a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for all participants. Your leadership will ensure each camper experiences a memorable summer filled with growth, discovery, and fun. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ lives while honing your skills in education administration and program management.

Duties

Coordinate daily camp operations, including activity schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure smooth program delivery.
Lead and supervise camp staff and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and training to maintain high standards of safety and engagement.
Develop and implement innovative educational activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal development aligned with curriculum goals.
Foster a welcoming environment by building strong relationships with campers, parents, and community partners.
Monitor safety protocols rigorously, conduct regular site inspections, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
Manage administrative tasks such as enrollment records, attendance tracking, and reporting compliance with organizational policies.
Promote inclusivity by ensuring activities are accessible to all students regardless of background or ability.

Experience

STEM background
Higher education teaching experience or background in education administration is highly desirable.
Proven experience working with students in a camp or educational setting, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
Previous university experience or familiarity with academic environments enhances your ability to connect with diverse youth populations.
Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, staff, and community stakeholders.
Ability to organize multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
