Complete Balance is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation and wellness clinic dedicated to providing holistic, evidence-informed, and patient-centered care. Our team includes Acupuncturists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Naturopathic Doctors, Psychotherapists, and Rehabilitation Professionals who work collaboratively to help patients achieve meaningful and lasting improvements in their health.
We have a unique clinical focus on neurological rehabilitation and complex care, supporting patients with conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), concussion, Bell's palsy, peripheral nerve injuries, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. Our goal is to optimize nervous system function, restore movement, and improve quality of life through an integrated approach to care.
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Osteopathic Manual Practitioner to join our growing multidisciplinary team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and optimize function through hands-on manual therapy.
This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including musculoskeletal, neurological, chronic pain, and post-injury rehabilitation cases. Experience or interest in treating neurological conditions is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive osteopathic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver hands-on osteopathic manual therapy using structural, cranial, and visceral techniques where appropriate.
- Utilize or be willing to train in Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) and Neuro Emotional Technique (NET)
- Support patients with musculoskeletal conditions, chronic pain, neurological disorders, and post-injury rehabilitation.
- Educate patients on self-management strategies, exercises, posture, movement patterns, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Acupuncturists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Naturopathic Doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning when appropriate.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships and provide exceptional patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Osteopathic Manual Practice from a recognized institution.
- Member in good standing with a recognized professional osteopathic association.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and manual therapy skills.
- Training in or openness to learning SOT and NET techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience treating neurological conditions, chronic pain, post-concussion syndrome, post-stroke recovery, movement disorders, or complex rehabilitation cases is considered a strong asset.
