Full job description

Horizon Maritime Northern Services Ltd. is looking to hire a Journeyperson-certified Machinist for support of the Marine Transport Services Shipyard, located in Hay River, Northwest Territories. This position is full-time, with all work done on-site.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Journeyman Certificate valid in the Northwest Territories, or Red Seal (allowing work anywhere in Canada)
Vendor Certificates an asset, but not requirement
Experience an asset
Additional medical certifications (such as First Aid, CPR, etc.)

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

Hourly wage starting at $51.46
Health, Dental, short-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and life insurance upon hire- Northern Living allowance of $404 payable biweekly- Camp accommodations offered for out-of-town residents with Per Diem of $70 daily
